That was certainly a weird dream. If he hadn't experienced everyone else being ...weird alternate versions, he wouldn't think anything of it, but considering the fact that he had, he is now wondering if it happened to him, as well.

First order of business though is of course checking on Mercutio, to make sure he is back. Once that particular fear is gone, he decides breakfast is in order, then he should check up on the garden. Hopefully today will be normal and uneventful.



If anyone would like to speak with regular Dionysus now that he is no longer an AU, feel free! Or honestly if you just want to talk to him anyway, that's fine too.

He is going to get a warm greeting from both Sagramore and Szarka, who come up on him at a lope. Sagramore has a pair of scissors in his back pocket and several fragrant branches of lilac in his hand, since he's decided they should have cut flowers in the house.

"Sweet-heart, thou'rt returned!"

[vineleaves]

He gives Sagramore a hug and a kiss before bending down to give Szarka some attention as well. "I take it I was swapped out too then, at some point?"

[sagramore]

"Thou wert young and wistful. I missed thee and I felt for him."

[vineleaves]

"Wasn't sure if I just dreamed all that up or not," he says, laughing. "Sorry if it weirded you out, or anything, love."

[sagramore]

"No, I just worried about thee, that's all." He shifts the lilacs to his other hand and leans against Dionysus' side. "What was thy youth like?"

[vineleaves]

"Well, for starters, I didn't live with my shit cousin, so no worries there." He can remember being really worried about Pentheus.

[sagramore]

"I forget thou livedst so long ago that I'm no longer in the past to thee, as I am now, but the future."

[vineleaves]

He laughs. "I told you I'm old."

[sagramore]

"There's old and then there's old!" He laughs, too, but then he wraps his arms around Dionysus and buries his face in his neck. "Christ, I'm glad thou'rt back."

[papadopoulos]

Apollo is up bright and early, as per usual. Look, when you're driving the sun, you have to be up early, it's the rules. He's been out shooting at the targets out back, when he comes across Dionysus in the gardens. "I think you should grow your hair long," he says, appropos of nothing. "--And I'm glad you're back to normal, it was weird having you not here."

[vineleaves]

Dionysus laughs. "Did I have long hair yesterday?"

[papadopoulos]

"You did! It was cute. You were cute. And not yourself. I mean I know you're not my Dionysus anyway, but I've gotten used to you, y'know?"

[vineleaves]

"Well, from what I can remember, I'm glad I'm not him. I think he spent a lot of time crying yesterday."

[papadopoulos]

"I mean, from what I saw of him, there was a lot of crying. But I didn't know you that well when you were a kid."

[vineleaves]

Dionysus stares at Apollo. "Well for starters, I wasn't mortal who lived with their mom's messed up family. I mean, if he's as old as I think he is I was already married at that point." AKA- having a much better time all around.

[papadopoulos]

Apollo shrugs. “I dunno. I never had a childhood, so…I might be biased.”

[vineleaves]

We get it Apollo, you’re a normal god. “Well, with any luck he’ll get to Delphi with no issues and it’ll all be okay for him.”

[futaille]

He hasn't really had a chance to look at Dionysus's garden. And there's no time like the present, given that Dionysus is probably... Dionysus again.

So he wanders up at a saunter. "It's certainly good to see you."

[vineleaves]

Oh this is absolutely wonderful. Grantaire is outside. Dionysus greets him with a hug and a kiss. “Morning, love,” he says, despite it probably not being the morning at all.

[futaille]

Ha laughs a little. "So you're you again."

[vineleaves]

“Thankfully, yes.” No offense to the guy, but from what he can remember he would much rather have lived his life than the life that other version of him had. “Did you two have a good day, at least?”

[futaille]

He nods. "He was sweet. I'm glad you didn't have to live his life, though."

[vineleaves]

“Me too. Even aside from things he actively was going through — I mean, I had kids by that point.”

[futaille]

He blinks. "Did someone tell you about him? Or do you... have his memories?"

[vineleaves]

“Feels like I dreamt it all up,” he shrugs. “Mercutio’s got the same situation happening, he can remember bits of yesterday. I think I remember more than him though, but I do have a pretty good memory¹, so that might have something to do with it.”
