Open: All that you are is a face in the mirror

That was certainly a weird dream. If he hadn't experienced everyone else being ...weird alternate versions, he wouldn't think anything of it, but considering the fact that he had, he is now wondering if it happened to him, as well.

First order of business though is of course checking on Mercutio, to make sure he is back. Once that particular fear is gone, he decides breakfast is in order, then he should check up on the garden. Hopefully today will be normal and uneventful.



If anyone would like to speak with regular Dionysus now that he is no longer an AU, feel free! Or honestly if you just want to talk to him anyway, that's fine too.

"There's old and then there's old!" He laughs, too, but then he wraps his arms around Dionysus and buries his face in his neck. "Christ, I'm glad thou'rt back."

[vineleaves]

Dionysus's arms settle around Sagramore's waist, and he does his best to kiss the side of Sagramore's head he can reach, though at the angle they're at it only sort of works. "I take it you didn't like being the cool, mysterious, futuristic, tomato-knowing, hot older man?"

[sagramore]

"I enjoyed that, but I love thee, I missed my lover."

[vineleaves]

He snuggles in to Sagramore even more closely at that. "I'll try my best not to disappear on you like that again, love. I'm sorry."

[sagramore]

"Thou art all right?" nestling up equally close.

[vineleaves]

"Of course, love." He kisses him.

[sagramore]

"Thou canst come and go as thou pleasest, I suppose, I just worried," before he sinks into the kiss, rubbing circles on Dionysus' back, just generally doing all his little clingy things.

[vineleaves]

He's certainly not going to complain about the kiss or the back rubs, but he does ask, "Are you worried that I had the same bad time growing up as he did?"

[sagramore]

He nods, tucking his face into Dionysus' neck.

[vineleaves]

"Oh, sweetheart, no." It's now Dionysus' turn to rub Sagramore's back. "I wasn't raised with my family, I was raised by a grove of very loving and sweet and darling wood nymphs. And -- by the time I was his age," he's estimating, based on what he can remember of when Pentheus became king, "I was a happily married god, fully broke free from my curse, so no worries there either."

[sagramore]

"I might worry about thee anyway," a bit of a mumble.

[vineleaves]

He gently lifts Sagramore's chin until he's able to give him a sweet kiss.

[sagramore]

Sagramore kisses him back for a long moment before he says, "Well. I'd like thy help with something, at any rate, if thou'rt not busy."

[vineleaves]

"Of course, love. I'm never busy, and I'm especially never too busy for you."

[sagramore]

"Come back to the house with me?" He means their house, not the mansion.

[vineleaves]

“Oh, yeah, sure dear. What’s up?”

[sagramore]

He laughs. "It's a surprise, I'll show thee. I need thy help choosing, and then with the details."

[vineleaves]

“Oki doki, let’s go.”

[sagramore]

Sagramore takes one more moment of leaning against him, inhaling the musty scent of grapes, before straightening and reaching for his hand to lead him up to the house, Szarka at their heels.

When they arrive he puts the lightly crushed lilacs in water (without tempering the stems, Claudius help this man). Then he brings Dionysus into the bathroom and gets out his shaving kit. "I suspect thine eye for makeup is better than mine own."

[vineleaves]

Dionysus positively lights up. “Are we doing makeovers?!”

[sagramore]

He grins. "Thou wilt help turn me into the most beautiful woman in this whole world. I have a palette here -- wilt thou choose my colors while I shave my beard?"

[vineleaves]

Oh this is just the best news ever. “Wait! Before you do that—“ he trails a finger down Sagramore’s cheek, and leans over to kiss him. “Okay, sorry, had to say goodbye to it.”

[sagramore]

The grins widens. "It's well sent off."

[vineleaves]

"Oh! Speaking of hair," he starts rummaging through the box of makeup Sagramore has, opening things and generally seeing what all he has to work with here. "I've been thinking about growing mine out again, what d'you think, dear? Of course, then the mansion went and swapped me for a version who still had long hair, d'you think that's a coincidence?"

[sagramore]

"It was pretty," Sagramore says, as he begins lathering his face. "And obviously then thou canst put all sorts of ornaments and things in it, and let thy lovers play with it, and have it pulled during sex--"
