Open: All that you are is a face in the mirror

That was certainly a weird dream. If he hadn't experienced everyone else being ...weird alternate versions, he wouldn't think anything of it, but considering the fact that he had, he is now wondering if it happened to him, as well.

First order of business though is of course checking on Mercutio, to make sure he is back. Once that particular fear is gone, he decides breakfast is in order, then he should check up on the garden. Hopefully today will be normal and uneventful.



If anyone would like to speak with regular Dionysus now that he is no longer an AU, feel free! Or honestly if you just want to talk to him anyway, that's fine too.

He laughs again. "Should I choose a gown first, will that help decide the cosmetics?"

[vineleaves]

You’re going to kill him.

“Yes. Yes that would help.”

[sagramore]

"Wonderful. I'll try things on for thee, and thou canst choose thy favorite," reaching for his hand to pull him back into the bedroom. His gowns are hung in the closet -- the sunset-red one he wore to his wedding dance, the burgundy gown with the slits Kade made for him to tempt Laertes, a purple slipdress with art deco beading, a shimmering gold halterneck he's had no chance to wear yet, the buttery yellow flounced skirt he first played Zsofia in.

[vineleaves]

"If I knew all I had to do to get you to try on multiple dresses for me was somehow turn mortal for a day, I would've looked into doing so sooner."

[sagramore]

He laughs. "Thou couldst have asked, too. I would have done it for thee." He undresses, shimmying out of his clothes and leaving them in a heap on the floor, and reaches for his wedding dance dress. "I'll need a hand with the fastener on this one, it's in the back."

[vineleaves]

"You know, the other version of me got Étienne to wear women's clothing yesterday, it's just my lucky week I guess." He closes up the zipper, his eyes slowly trailing up Sagramore's back as he does so.

[sagramore]

The knobs of his spine are barely visible, in contrast to the orgy, when Dark had just ended and he had lost far too much weight. Now there are obvious muscles in his back, and the dress is actually a bit tight to zip up. "I assume he was adorable."

[vineleaves]

He presses a kiss to the highest part of Sagramore's back he can reach while they're both standing before he finishes zipping up the zipper all the way.

"Ugh, you don't even know. He was so damn hot."

[sagramore]

"We'll have to do this together some time. Be thy ladies in waiting."

[vineleaves]

“… That would — that would be a very good — yes.”

[sagramore]

"Art thou enjoying the picture?"

[vineleaves]

"You could say that." He wraps his arms around Sagramore's waist.

[sagramore]

Sagramore laughs, leaning back against him. "Thou wilt never get to see how this looks at this rate." He doesn't sound like the idea bothers him.

[vineleaves]

Dionysus sighs, reluctantly. "I do want to get around to putting makeup on you. You shaved and everything for me, it would be a shame to skip that part."

[sagramore]

"Let me turn around and show thee this, then," fondly. "We do have all day, though."

[vineleaves]

"Okay." And he steps back just enough so that Sagramore can actually turn around.

[sagramore]

Since Dionysus came after the dance, he missed seeing Sagramore wear this. It's a corseted gown that's cut low, showing off his curly grey chest hair and the dog pendant Laertes made him, with a full skirt that twirls delightfully when he spins; the color is Laertes' favorite, sunset red.

[vineleaves]

Sagramore is, of course, absolutely beautiful in it. Dionysus has that dreamy look back on his face and he steps back, going on his tiptoes to give him a kiss, his hands running across the exposed part of Sagramore's chest.

[sagramore]

He grins as he kisses back warmly, his own arms slipping around Dionysus' waist. "Doth it please thee?"

[vineleaves]

"You can say that again," he says before going back for another kiss. Sagramore is beautiful, but more than that, he's doing this specifically for Dionysus. That makes everything just that much more special.

[sagramore]

Sagramore happily kisses him again. "Claudius organized a dance to celebrate Laertes' and my wedding, and I wore this dress to dance."

[vineleaves]

"I absolutely hate that I missed your wedding, dear. I wish I'd been here for it."

[sagramore]

"The anniversary will keep coming around," with a fond little nuzzle. "And everyone missed the wedding, anyway, because we just decided to be married by ourselves."

[vineleaves]

“That’s so romantic.” It’s what Ampelos had wanted to do, he remembers with the usual pang of guilt and sadness that accompanies that particular memory. “I’m glad that’s what you ended up doing. Very sweet.”

[sagramore]

"It was Lan Wangji's fault. He told us both separately how he married his husband by bowing to him, and we both wanted that for ourselves." His hand finds Dionysus', gives it a squeeze, acknowledging the sad unspoken memory.
