Dionysus is in a kitchen, apron tied over a purple dress with vine details, singing to himself as he uses a melon baller to scoop out a watermelon. The large bowl next to him is already full of honeydew melon and cantaloupe, and he's got a few other ingredients nearby ready to add in once he's done with the watermelon. Mint leaves, some honey, some lemon juice, and some lime juice.

It has been quite an eventful time lately, but overall his life is pretty great right now.

"Yeah, they're loud. I'll show you." He plugs the blender in, then fishes around for some Smoothie Ingredients and eventually settles on some frozen cut up strawberries and bananas from the freezer, milk, and a little bit of ice. He's not going for anything overly fancy, just something so that Grantaire can get the full blender experience. He dumps it all into the blender and warns, "Okay, about to be loud," before turning it on to blend.

His eyes widen as he watches. It is loud. But it also looks extraordinarily effective.

Dionysus tries to tell Grantaire something, but the blender's still going.

[futaille]

He squints as he tries to make out what Dionysus is saying, as it's totally scientifically proven that squinting can help you hear things. "What?"

[vineleaves]

"I said --" it's still going.

[futaille]

"What?"

[vineleaves]

bbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnnrrrrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnrrrrrrnnnn "-- in it."

[futaille]

He just stares, uncomprehending, at Dionysus.

[vineleaves]

He finally thinks the smoothie is smoothed enough, and turns off the blender. "Don't ever put your hand in it while it's running."

[futaille]

"I definitely think I would prefer not having a smoothie made of my hand, yes." He pauses. "What if it's not down far enough for the blades?"

[vineleaves]

He makes a cup and starts pouring the smoothie into it. "That's just asking for trouble. Please don't."

[futaille]

"By which I assume you mean there are other better foolhardy things to do instead?"

[vineleaves]

"I'm just saying I'd be very sad if your hands got eaten by a blender." He sets the cup down in front of Grantaire. "Here you go."

[futaille]

"I probably would be too. I do things with my hands. You're fond of some of them." He promptly picks up the glass and takes a sip.

[vineleaves]

"Most of 'em, if not all, in fact." He laughs. "What do you think of the smoothie?"

[futaille]

"It's good!" he says easily. "I think it would complement rum very well."

[vineleaves]

"An astute observation!"

[futaille]

"I have a few of those on occasion!"

[vineleaves]

"Often, I'd say."

[futaille]

"Why thank you, I'm flattered."

[vineleaves]

He leans over to kiss him.

[futaille]

He kisses back, still tasting of smoothie.

[vineleaves]

He might taste of smoothie, but he also always tastes of wine to Dionysus, because of god powers and stuff, which does overpower the strawberry banana taste a good bit.

[futaille]

In that case he tastes of wine with vague hints of strawberry banana. "You're delightful."

[vineleaves]

He laughs. "Thank you, love."
