Dionysus is in a kitchen, apron tied over a purple dress with vine details, singing to himself as he uses a melon baller to scoop out a watermelon. The large bowl next to him is already full of honeydew melon and cantaloupe, and he's got a few other ingredients nearby ready to add in once he's done with the watermelon. Mint leaves, some honey, some lemon juice, and some lime juice.

It has been quite an eventful time lately, but overall his life is pretty great right now.

He laughs. "I guess partially. I believe it's a combination of 'polyamory' and 'molecule', because if you draw a little diagram of everyone involved with lines going between who's in a relationship with who, it sort of looks like how scientists draw pictures of molecules."

[vineleaves]

"Any fun plans for the rest of the day?"

[vineleaves]

"Perfect! Okay, so that's the studio, which means thiiiiiiis one-" he opens the door on the other wall, "is the bedroom!"

"Ah, yes. He has powers related to summer, I think?" Aleksander remembered talking to Magnus in the greenhouse briefly about that but that had been during Dark and the light had both hurt his eyes and given him a terrible headache.

[futaille]

He grins. "Welcome home."

Lancelot shrugs, "Only the usual sort of plans, I suppose."

[wickedwit]

“I adore pictures of molecules,” Claudius says with utter sincerity, leaning upon the counter. “It’s fascinating to imagine the connective bonds at the heart of all matter. Attractive forces, you know.” The last he says with an illustrative circling of his hands.

[vineleaves]

Dionysus laughs, so full of joy he can't help it, as he wraps his arms around the back of Grantaire's neck and draws him in to a big kiss.

[vineleaves]

"He's got all sorts of powers, but, yeah, summer's one of 'em. He can help plants grow. Incredibly useful for his career as a melon grower."

[vineleaves]

"You've been teaching Mercutio about... uh, science stuff, right? You should offer up classes for everyone. I mean, if you want to. You're very smart." And Dionysus doesn't know a ton about science, which is to say he knows very little about science.

[vineleaves]

"Same for me." Which is to say, he has zero plan for today. His only plan so far was to cut up this fruit, which he has now done.

[futaille]

He kisses back, quite content to let it linger.

[vineleaves]

Dionysus does draw it out for a long time, but finally a Thought does manage to wiggle its way into his mind, and when they finally separate he points out, "Y'know, we'll have to tell people which door is ours now, otherwise nobody'll be able to find us if they need something or want to come visit." He wonders if they should send out little cards. Claudius in particular would probably appreciate that.

"We could hang a sign on the door."

[vineleaves]

"Oh, that's -- why don't more people put signs on their doors around here? You're very smart. What sort of sign d'you think we should have? I could make one out of vines and then make it metal if we wanted sort of a wrought iron look. Or we could find a board and you can paint something?"

[futaille]

"I like the metal idea, thinking on it."

[vineleaves]

"Okay let's -- let's go make it!" he says, grabbing Grantaire's hand and practically dragging him to the table to sit down. "So -- should it say Étienne and Di-- oh, wait, you probably want it to say say your surname, huh--"

[futaille]

"More people know me as Grantaire, so it would make sense. You can put both on there if you'd like but then my name is so much longer than yours."

[vineleaves]

"Not if we put all of my names too," he says with a smirk.

[futaille]

He grins. "Do it. Or at least as many as you feel like."

[vineleaves]

He laughs. "We'd need a bigger door, I think. Grantaire and Dionysus or Dionysus and Grantaire?"

[futaille]

"Dionysus and Grantaire. Alphabetical."

[vineleaves]

"That works!" He starts making the sign, rectangular with decorative vines across the top and bottom, reading

Before he makes it metal he asks, "Look okay?"

[futaille]

"It's perfect."

[vineleaves]

He grins and the sign turns metal, making a very solid thunk when he sets it down on the table. “Glad to have that problem so quickly solved!”
