Dionysus has fully been intending on getting this started for a while, but has kept procrastinating for one reason or another. However, Mercutio being unceremoniously swapped out for an entire day was enough of a kick in the butt to get him to start seriously planning it. He can't wait around forever! He needs to take action!

So, anyone passing by the welcome table will notice a new addition: a small sign written out on a very fancy piece of cardstock, along with a page full of blank lines for anyone who is interested to put their name down.




If you missed the conversation in chat: Dionysus will be hosting winemaking classes. These classes will be handwaved, so feel free to sign up whichever characters might be interested with no worry about being obligated to thread anything out later :) I would appreciate it if you tag this either with your character signing up or a mention that they didn't sign up but crashed the class anyway, just so I can mentally keep track of who Dionysus will be spending time with.

Magnus won't be attending but he WILL be talking to Uncle D about grapevine cultivation lessons separately, since that seems more Plant Guy-y.

Laertes is stopping in at the mansion for sweet things--sugar and honey and molasses and chocolate chips--when he catches sight of the sign-up sheet. Delight fills him at the prospect of learning a new skill, especially given that he and Sagramore have been planning to build a distillery for several months now. Winemaking ought to provide them with a good foundation for making stronger liquors. He eagerly sets down his own name and Sagramore's; this task complete, he starts heading back to his own house.

Mercutio will also be attending, if only for the possibility of eventually getting drunk. He truly is Dionysus' adoptive child.

Xie Lian signs up! He enjoys cooking, and this can't be that different. Plus, it gives him more of a chance to observe the god of madness.<sup>1

Lancelot happens by the table and notices the sign; upon seeing Susan, Laertes, and Grantaire have all already signed up, he neatly pens in his own name on a fresh line.

Aziraphale enthusiastically signs up on both his own behalf and on Crowley's!

Nina signs up with a little heart on her name! She won't be the most attentive student, but she'll be there and enthusiastic about it.

Naturally, Claudius is going to sign up to learn winemaking from the god who first taught the oenological arts to mankind -- who would pass up such an opportunity? It's probably his duty as a priest, or something of the kind. It's definitely his duty to spread the word.

While he's at it, he puts Crowley's and Lan Wangji's names down, too. It's been too long since they've done something as a trio, and he feels a bit of fondness for the other Crowley (who wasn't Crowley) who liked his wines natural.

Tally wasn't going to go, but she comes back later and notices Mercutio's name on the sheet, and adds her own. She has to make some more friends, and almost all of hers are girls, for some reason. She's getting as sexist as a Rusty!
