Dionysus is in a kitchen, apron tied over a purple dress with vine details, singing to himself as he uses a melon baller to scoop out a watermelon. The large bowl next to him is already full of honeydew melon and cantaloupe, and he's got a few other ingredients nearby ready to add in once he's done with the watermelon. Mint leaves, some honey, some lemon juice, and some lime juice.

It has been quite an eventful time lately, but overall his life is pretty great right now.

He leans over to kiss him.

He kisses back, still tasting of smoothie.

[vineleaves]

He might taste of smoothie, but he also always tastes of wine to Dionysus, because of god powers and stuff, which does overpower the strawberry banana taste a good bit.

[futaille]

In that case he tastes of wine with vague hints of strawberry banana. "You're delightful."

[vineleaves]

He laughs. "Thank you, love."

[futaille]

"Of course." He has another sip of his smoothie. "So I was thinking perhaps a chandelier in our foyer."

[vineleaves]

“Do you — you still want to?” It’s a little unclear if he means “hypothetically have a foyer” or “permanently officially move in”. Could be both.

[futaille]

"Yes. Absolutely."

[vineleaves]

Dionysus grins, and then kisses Grantaire again, one hand going to his back and the other up in his hair. “I’m —“ he says when they part, “I’m very happy to hear that.”

[futaille]

He smiles wryly. "I haven't made you sick of me yet, so I figured it was a good sign."

[vineleaves]

“Of course not!” He kisses Grantaire again. “Same can be said in reverse, you haven’t gotten sick of me yet.” He assumes.

[futaille]

"The odds of that ever happening are vanishingly small."

[vineleaves]

Dionysus just sits there grinning for a half second — he’s really happy, okay? - then realizes he should probably do something other than just stare stupidly at Étienne’s face, and says, “So… what d’you think the most effective way of getting the mansion to combine them for us is gonna be? Should we, y’know, sketch it out first so we make sure we’re both picturing the same layout?”

[futaille]

"I suppose we could, although there's no guarantee that they'd give us the layout we picture..."

[vineleaves]

“That’s true. Do you think just asking nicely for them to put something together for us while we’re out would work, or do we need to try and be more direct about it?”

[futaille]

"It can't hurt to try, I guess."

[lanselos_du_lac]

"A great many things, I suppose. But 'fun' is... folk like thyself, or Grantaire."

[vineleaves]

"Oh great and, uh, wise -- do you think they'd like being called wise? -- wise mansion spirits," he says, sort of just looking off to the side, with his arms outstretched, "Please give us a foyer."

[futaille]

Grantaire is not nearly so formal about it. "Oh strange and unpredictable mansion spirits, you put us in one another's path so you had to realize this was a possibility. Help us out here, and be as idiosyncratic about it as you'd like."

[vineleaves]

"Most things that are expensive shouldn't really be, to tell you the truth. There was a store a few years ago that was selling a paperclip for more money than a lot of people make in a week."

[vineleaves]

"We're both certainly louder than you are, but that doesn't mean you're any less fun, dear."

[vineleaves]

"Oh, that's good," He says with a laugh. "...We should give them an offering. From the drinking game." This is possibly just an excuse to play the drinking game again, in a situation where he won't be worried about Sagramore the whole time.

"... Why?"

[futaille]

He brightens immediately. "You are a genius. Let's go."

[vineleaves]

He quickly dumps all of the various dirty dishes and utensils in the sink - he can deal with those later if they still exist - and puts the fruit salad in the fridge for whoever wants some. "After you," he says, holding the kitchen door open for Grantaire.
