Dionysus is in a kitchen, apron tied over a purple dress with vine details, singing to himself as he uses a melon baller to scoop out a watermelon. The large bowl next to him is already full of honeydew melon and cantaloupe, and he's got a few other ingredients nearby ready to add in once he's done with the watermelon. Mint leaves, some honey, some lemon juice, and some lime juice.

It has been quite an eventful time lately, but overall his life is pretty great right now.

He squints as he tries to make out what Dionysus is saying, as it's totally scientifically proven that squinting can help you hear things. "What?"

"I said --" it's still going.

"What?"

bbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnnrrrrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnrrrrrrnnnn "-- in it."

He just stares, uncomprehending, at Dionysus.

He finally thinks the smoothie is smoothed enough, and turns off the blender. "Don't ever put your hand in it while it's running."

"I definitely think I would prefer not having a smoothie made of my hand, yes." He pauses. "What if it's not down far enough for the blades?"

He makes a cup and starts pouring the smoothie into it. "That's just asking for trouble. Please don't."

"By which I assume you mean there are other better foolhardy things to do instead?"

"I'm just saying I'd be very sad if your hands got eaten by a blender." He sets the cup down in front of Grantaire. "Here you go."

"Thank you. I regret all of the young women he has harmed through the years," Constance says. "At least I have my life."

"I probably would be too. I do things with my hands. You're fond of some of them." He promptly picks up the glass and takes a sip.

"I believe thee," a bit carefully, "but I do not think of myself as 'fun.'"

"Most of 'em, if not all, in fact." He laughs. "What do you think of the smoothie?"

"Poor Planet Caviar."

"It's good!" he says easily. "I think it would complement rum very well."

"What do you think of yourself as then?"

"What's caviar?"

"I'm glad for that much, at least. Too many people come here after losing their lives, you know."

"An astute observation!"

"I have a few of those on occasion!"

"Really expensive fish eggs."

"Often, I'd say."

"That's a kind of strange thing to be expensive, but all right."

"Why thank you, I'm flattered."
